At JOOLL, we’re all about making it easy to say yes to getting a super cool JOOLL bike. That’s why we’ve put together service and insurance packages that help you focus on all the other things in life that are more important. All we ask is that you do what you can to look after your JOOLL bike, but otherwise use it as normal. Wear, scratches and dents are a part of having a JOOLL bike and we only look positively on that.<\/p>

What is included in our service package?<\/strong><\/p>

Having a JOOLL should be a pleasure. That’s why we’ve done everything we can to make it easy and as administration-free as possible. Included in our service package is a fixed service check once a year, where the bike can be inspected at JOOLL or one of our partners. Service is after 6, 18 and 30 months. Here, our skilled mechanics go through the JOOLL and make sure it is serviced. We tighten, clean and lubricate mechanical parts, inflate tyres, align and adjust spokes and rims and check wear parts. Just like a car, a JOOLL needs to be serviced and checked. All this is included.
If there are wearing parts that need to be replaced, we also offer this service. You can also opt for our ServicePLUS package, which includes selected wearing parts and call-outs for punctures. JOOLL Race & MTB comes with a service package that includes the same as a standard JOOLL service agreement. This means that we do not include dampers and other components that differ from the above standard service.<\/p>

What does the ServicePLUS package include?<\/strong><\/p>

At JOOLL, we are committed to keeping you on the road, which is why many choose to add the ServicePLUS package for even greater coverage.
The ServicePLUS package therefore includes full coverage on selected wear and tear parts that are not self-inflicted. This includes punctures if the chain breaks, new brake pads, new tubes, new tyres or new pedals. With ServicePLUS, we repair at no extra cost for labour hours.
All we ask is that you’ve done what you can to keep your bike free from damage.
Your ServicePLUS package works from the moment you receive your JOOLL until your bike is returned to JOOLL.
Price for the ServicePLUS package (per JOOLL bike) is DKK 149 ex VAT<\/b> per month.
If you have not opted for the ServicePLUS package from the start and you want to upgrade to the ServicePLUS package at a later date, there is a set-up fee of DKK 499 ex VAT per JOOLL bike. From there, it’s DKK 149 per month ex VAT.
The ServicePLUS package cannot be purchased for JOOLL Race & MTB bikes. If the JOOLL bike is used for commercial use for delivery, delivery or, for example, home care, you must opt for ServicePLUS Business for DKK 199 ex VAT.<\/p>

There are different warranties on the battery and motor with 1, 2 or 3 years depending on model and manufacturer, which means that the battery and motor are not part of the wear parts covered by the ServicePLUS package.<\/p>

How does it work?<\/strong><\/p>

Fortunately, it’s easy to get back on the road if you have an accident. Simply fill out the form; https:\/\/support.jooll.bike and we or our partner will make sure you get the help you need. In a few cases, the repair of your bike may mean that you can’t get it right away, but we promise a close follow-up so you can use your JOOLL again as soon as possible. Remember to write the model, frame number, location of the bike and phone number.<\/p>

What about my insurance?<\/strong><\/p>

If you’ve had an accident or your JOOLL has been stolen, you’ll be pleased to know that JOOLL bikes are covered by 100% accident, theft and vandalism insurance, so you can move around safely in traffic. This means that if your JOOLL is stolen, you contact JOOLL and you’ll get a replacement bike as soon as we can get the case started with the correct information, keys and other items returned. The only thing we require of you is that you have locked the bike securely with an insurance-approved lock. Fortunately, if the bike is damaged due to a third party accident or vandalism, our insurance also covers this. That way, JOOLL will always do what we can to keep you on the road. The insurance covers spare parts and components on the JOOLL bike, but not scratches, dents and scratches. The insurance includes a deductible of up to DKK 2,000 for all types of bikes. 2,000 DKK for bikes without electricity. Race, Gravel, Tri and MTB bikes DKK 3,000. DKK 4,000 for all regular electric bikes (If the battery is not stolen and returned to JOOLL, the excess drops to DKK 2,000). For MATE bikes, the excess is DKK 5,000. For cargobikes and Speed-Pedelecs, the excess is DKK 4,000 (If the battery is not stolen and is returned to JOOLL, the excess is reduced to DKK 2,000). For 3rd party damage and vandalism, the excess is DKK 2,000. In the event of theft or significant damage involving insurance via JOOLL after month 12 of the lease agreement, the option to buy out under the general terms and conditions is no longer available.<\/p>

If there is a tracker in your JOOLL and it is not activated or charged, the insurance does not cover. It is the user’s responsibility to report immediately to JOOLL if it is noticed that the tracker is not working. If the bike is stolen and the tracker has not worked, there is no insurance coverage.<\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>

In the event of an insurance claim, the following must be returned in addition to the police report: All keys to the lock and any battery. If this is not returned, the excess will amount to 50% of the bike’s new price. In addition, all other possible effects must also be returned, including any charger and spare parts.<\/p>

If a GPS tracker is installed and the battery is lower than 20% before the time of the offence, the insurance will not cover.
